Job Summary:

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute growth strategies of department, group and division with the members.
• Manage and support the affiliate companies to grow further, including analyzing the financials, providing some advises with related dept. in SC group etc.
• Study the market of metal industry to utilize our current assets and also look for the potential M&A target.
• Carry out the investment process, including due diligence, together with the Department GM and other members.
• Support to make the budget of dept. and group, and conduct the budget and actual management.
• (In order to achieve the above,) Communicate properly not only within the department but also with the Group members, SCOA Corporate departments, and related SC Tokyo departments.

Required Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

• The experience of managing the subsidiary company as a member of the shareholder.
• A certain knowledge and experience of steel industry.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in reviewing budgets, financial data and providing actionable insights to the business.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience influencing internal resources and cross functional teams to support business needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Results oriented with a strong drive for success and winning.

Preferred

• Knowledge of management accounting, financial management.
• Knowledge and experience of the internal control.
• Able to effectively communicate with Sr. Management level associates.

Education, Certification and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience (min. 5-7 years) in a corporate business culture.

Preferred

• MBA

Physical Requirements:

• Travel once a month, depending on project it may increase.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
