Job Summary:

The OCTG Summer Intern will focus on supporting various departments on day-to-day tasks that will provide the intern an opportunity on gaining practical experience within the OCTG industry as well as general office experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Primary functions:

·        OCTG procedures/work instructions updates.  Work with the sales and operations teams to update current procedures and work instructions to current practices and procedures

·        Iron mountain box processing/filing/processing to clear out old boxes that need processing and destroying

·        Assist in updating QA/Technical SharePoint files

·        End of term presentation to leaders in SCOA

Additional functions/roles:

·        Physical inventory of pipe yard if needed (potential for bp GOA project)

·        Monthly budget updates in templates

·        Monthly budget updates in templates

·        Monthly updates to the sales tracker

·        Helping with weekly sales estimates

·        Competency Map work – creating individual files from the template

·        Weekly analysis of SAP reports

·        Weekly analysis of TIMS GP reports

·        Updating the Master Shipment Table

·        Design of Power BI Dashboard for OCTG

·        Project Redpoint assistance in various things

Job Specific Knowledge/Skills & Abilities

<Required>

·        Working knowledge with Microsoft Office Applications.

·        Proficient in communication, both verbal and written.

·        Demonstrated organization and attention to detail.

 

Education, Certification and Experience:

<Required>

·        High School Diploma or equivalent required.

·        Must be actively enrolled in an accredited University/College.

Physical Requirements:

·        Must be able to lift to 20 lbs.

·        Ability to sit for prolonged times working behind a computer.
